Discover Strength in the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500

Power

Drivers love that they can choose the perfect level of power for their Silverado 1500, which has four different engine options. The standard on all trims is a TurboMax engine that unites with an 8-speed automatic transmission to provide 310 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 430 lb.-ft. of torque at 3000 rpm.

If you’re looking for something more intense, you can upgrade to the 5.3L EcoTec3, 6.2L EcoTec3, or the 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine. The Duramax engine will give you the most pronounced performance, generating an incredible 305 horsepower at 3750 rpm and 495 lb.-ft. of torque at 2750 rpm.

Exterior

The Silverado 1500 is a popular work truck because of exterior features like the Chevy Durabed. The Durabed is made with high-strength roll-formed steel, meaning you can haul any kind of material without scratching your cargo box. The CornerStep rear bumper is another convenient feature, providing textured footpads to give you added traction when climbing into your truck bed.

The 2025 Silverado 1500 comes with solar-absorbing glass windows to prevent the sun from overheating your cabin. The cab-mounted cargo area lamps provide ample lighting over your truck bed when you’re working at night, while the twelve cargo tie-downs help you secure heavy items in place for long hauls.

Interior

Inside the Silverado 1500, there’s spacious seating and plenty of room for storage. This truck seats up to six people across two bench seats, one of which has an under-seat cargo compartment! For more cargo room, you can fold up your rear bench’s seat bottoms and store items directly on the floor.

Connectivity

The 2025 Silverado 1500 comes with a Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system that measures seven inches. Use this system to access wireless smartphone integration on either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, depending on your device. These applications can sync your phone to the truck in a matter of seconds through Bluetooth technology and allow you to make hands-free phone calls using voice recognition.

Safety

The new Chevy Silverado 1500 comes equipped with StabiliTrak electronic stability control. When you make a speedy, unexpected maneuver on the road, StabiliTrak automatically adjusts your brakes and engine torque to keep the truck from rolling over. Other safety features in the Silverado 1500 include Rear Seat Reminder, Chevy Safety Assist, OnStar Basics, Teen Driver, Buckle to Drive, and an HD rear vision camera.
