The 2023 Silverado 1500 is available in nine trims. The Work Truck (WT) provides a Durabed truckbed featuring a best-in-class cargo volume. This innovative feature is incredibly resistant to dents and dings, so you don't have to stress when loading tools and other items. The Custom adds on an EZ tailgate featuring a power lock and power-deployable release, making loading and organizing cargo even more manageable. The Custom Trail Boss provides a 2.0-inch factory-installed lift, and the LT offers LED reflector headlights. On the RST, you'll notice color-keyed accents, while the LT Trail Boss flaunts sleek black wheels and mud-terrain tires. Chevrolet equips the LTZ with intricately designed wheels featuring a polished finish, and the ZR2 gets mud-terrain tires measuring 33 inches. As the top trim, the High Country is adorned with hand-polished accents.

Under the ZR2's hood sits a 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8 that puts out 460 pound-feet of torque. You can also equip your Silverado 1500 with an available 305-horsepower, 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine that produces 495 pound-feet of torque. The Silverado 1500 can tow 13,300 pounds when equipped with the turbo-diesel engine.

The 2023 Silverado 1500's standard transmission is an eight-speed automatic, while upper trim levels come equipped with a 10-speed automatic. You can also take advantage of the 10-speed transmission if you equip your Silverado 1500 with the turbo-diesel engine.
